Add Name & Date to Photo for Exam Forms
UPSC CSE and some State PSC forms require your name and the date the photo was taken to be printed on the photograph. Upload your photo, type your name, set the date — the tool prints it cleanly and resizes to your exam's requirement. No studio visit needed.

All processing happens inside your browser using the Canvas API — there is no server upload, no cloud storage, and no data retention. We have zero access to your files. Nothing is stored for any duration, because nothing ever travels to our servers in the first place.

Frequently asked questions
Which exams require name and date on the photo?
UPSC Civil Services (CSE) requires the photograph to clearly show the candidate’s name and the date the photo was taken. Several State PSCs have similar rules. Always confirm the exact requirement in the official notification.
How do I add my name and date to an exam photo?
Upload your photo, type your name, pick the date the photo was taken, and optionally select your exam for the correct size. The tool prints the name and date on a band at the bottom of the photo. Download the ready file.
Does this tool upload my photo to a server?
No. All processing happens in your browser using the Canvas API. Your photo never leaves your device. No login, no watermark.
What date format should I use?
The tool prints the date as DD/MM/YYYY. Use the date the photograph was actually taken, not the application date, unless the notification says otherwise.
