PHOTO TOOL
Rotate & straighten a photo or scan
Upload a photo or scanned document, rotate it by 90°, 180° or a custom angle, flip it, and straighten a tilted scan — then download a clean JPG or PNG. Useful when a phone-clicked signature, certificate or photo comes out sideways before an exam-form upload. Nothing is sent to a server.
How to rotate or straighten a photo or scan
- Upload the tilted or sideways image.
- Rotate in 90° steps, or nudge the angle to straighten a slight tilt.
- Download the corrected image.
Why orientation matters for forms
A photo taken sideways on a phone can upload rotated, and a verifying officer sees a 90°-off face or an unreadable certificate. Fixing it before upload avoids a rejection.
Straightening a scan
Documents photographed by hand are often a few degrees off. A small angle correction plus a crop makes the page look properly scanned.
Then resize
After rotating, put the image through the Photo or Document Resizer to meet the size limits in your notification.
Frequently asked questions
How do I fix a sideways photo for an exam form?
Upload it, rotate it upright, and download. Then resize it to the required dimensions.
Can I straighten a slightly tilted certificate scan?
Yes. Nudge the angle by a few degrees and crop the edges so it looks like a clean scan.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Rotation runs in your browser.
Does rotating reduce quality?
90° turns are lossless. A small free-angle correction re-samples the image slightly but the difference is not visible at form sizes.
